Just tried out my brand new Reliance Broadband+ connection and it works flawlessly.  It’s like I cant believe this. Never seen such speeds on a simple USB modem. It’s amazing. Easy to install. And I am perfectly happy with the speed. Bravo!! Totally worth it.

I loved this movie. Not ust because it involves a lot of nudity. I like nudity especially when it does not look vulgar. And it does not. Honest , not in this movie. I am quite convinced nudity is no big deal in mainstream cinema if done aesthitcally. Now i wonder if it is possible to justify a dripping vagina or an erect penis as perfectly beautiful form of art. A clever director could possibly pull that off of too. I can imagine it would be very very difficult to do so, but then I never thought nudity would look this good without being vulgar. I imagine anything’s possible.

Now that I have got the sex part out of my system, let me get to the real story. It’s all I guess about human frality of morals and our obsession to keep up with our images we have created amongst those who know us and those who dont know us. Even if it means being damned to a life of prison for 20 years.  Our little Katie is an illiterate and terribly ashamed of that. To what lenght can we go to preserve our secretive shame? Lie throguh our teeth day in and day out. Cover up one stink with another. And her cold apathetic attitude during her trial is quite mind-fucking. Makes me imagine the worst about humanity. That all the civilty is just a thin venneer behind which lie our true selves. One that can watch people burn alive in a church in the name of duty. What the heck is wrong with Hannah (katie’s character)? IS ahe crazy? Does she have cognitive dissonance? Thats the only explanation.  On one hand she refers to the young man in question as kid and on the other hand initiates sex with him, unapolegitically. She does not seem to understand that she has comitted a crime by picking out people to send them to thier deaths. Her only explanation was “there wasnt room, the new ones arrived and the old ones had to make way for th new ones”. It’s crazy. Even while she says that a sense of congnitive dissosance set in, in my own mind. Yes, what else could anyone have done, if one were a guard at a concentration camp. Ofcourse one would be crazy to take up such a job in the firs place. But why the heck does one feel lke sympathyzing with her anyway? Oh well, this is one crazy mind fuck movie totally worth watching and dwelling over it the rest of the day.  I still cant get over it.
