All about hair fibres – Do they really work? A practical guide.
First of all let me make it clear. I ain’t bald. I have fair amount of hair. But I do suffer from what is known as “diffused thinning”. It’s like the hair doesn’t fall off at one or two spots but all over the head. It’s not much of problem except the scalp gets realllllly visible in harsh light.
It gave me such a complex, I would hesitate to go under harsh light. And then I discovered the magic of hair fibres. Yes, they do work. But they have their own conditions under which they work. If you are bald , or your hair is too much thinned out it doesn’t work. It works best for people with moderate to little amount of diffuse thinning . I really don’t think it works if your hair has thinned out way too much. It will just look like dirty black stuff on your head in that case.
Which product do I use? It’s called HairMax. Its costs 1800 rupees for a tiny bottle. But dont worry it probably will last two or more months for people with little to moderate thinning. I am very happy with this product.
How to use it? Now this is the tricky part. I almost gave up on this product thinking it yet another waste of my hard earned cash. All because I wasn’t using it properly and in proper amount. And nobody can help you with this. All those videos on youtube are bullshit. They can be used as a starting point. But there is a learning curve associated with these kinds of products. As for myself, I just sprinkle the powder exactly four times on the front of head after combing. I make the fibres settles down using the back of the comb. I comb lightly again, so the extra fibres fall off. I end up with a beatiful voluminous forlock with very little scalp showing even in the harsh light.
I do not use any hair spray just because I really dislike them. They make my hair feel dry and icky even if it doesnt look so.
So there you go guys and gals, have fun with hair fibres and please leave your thoughts in my comments section. I would really appreciate that. Thanks.
